KIDK announced that the students at Eagle Rock Junior High were making pizza today to learn where it originated, even where tomatoes come from and best of all, how to make it. But they didn’t mention where pizza originated.
Just a tidbit for you all if you were unaware: Even though Italy is now famous for its yummy pizza, pizza in fact originated by the early Greeks who first baked large, round and flat breads (and still do make yummy breads) which were then anointed with oil, herbs and spices.
