Ooops! An Idaho Falls woman is the cover girl for the controversial Mormon calendar, “Hot Mormon Muffins.”
We had the “Men on a Mission” calendar featuring Mormon missionaries with their shirts off which went over like a lead balloon. Now we have a woman flaunting her hourglass figure on a calendar. Can you say SEX APPEAL?
But cover girl Tami Roberts says she just wants to break down the Mormon stereotype. She says her duties include getting dinner ready for the kids, helping with homework and playing around outside. She says she’s poking fun at the labels the LDS community gets.
Others insist these calendar queens and kings are trying to promote pornography. Others say that the way they pose is “tasteful.”
Well let me say that any calendar with the title, “Hot Mormon Muffins” featuring some busty woman in a skin tight outfit does in fact appear to promote sex. But nice try!

I like it. I think everybody, including the LDS community could stand to lighten up a bit… ok, a lot.
Sadly, this gal will probably get into trouble for this. Didn’t the missionaries get in trouble for their calendar?

Yes as I remember, the missionaries did get in trouble for their calendar. Personally I don’t see a problem with the calendar. But I don’t believe its totally innocent either which is where I think the church has issue with it. Seriously, “Hot Mormon Muffins?” I have a friend who loves to profess his muff diving abilities (yeah, he’s a nut) but we all know he isn’t talking about some breakfast rolls with butter.
